Dear John,
I had the most embarrassing weekend. My boyfriend's family likes to go camping. I'm not a camper girl, but I decided that I'd go. He and I have talked about marriage. We've dated for two years. His family is great and we love spending time with them, at least I did. I'm not sure I can ever spend time with them again. When we were camping, there was a little building with showers and toilets. Everyone camping there all shared the same facilities. There were two sides, very clearly labeled men's and women's. I was taking a shower one night and I heard someone else come in. That was normal, there were other women in there all weekend. This time it was not another woman. It was my boyfriend's dad. He stripped down and walked into the shower area where I was. He had been drinking and I'm not 100% sure he even realized it, until I said something. Then he seemed a little embarrassed. He was naked, I was naked, it was steamy in there, but you could still see way too much. He left right away and went next door to the men's showers. Nothing was ever mentioned, but I can't look at him without seeing the nakedness of that incident. I didn't say anything to my boyfriend right away because it was all so awkward. I felt uncomfortable around his dad the next two days. What do I do? Do I tell him? Do I break up with him and move to Siberia? Do I pack this away in some little vault in my brain and hope it never pops up again?

A good workout might do more than improve your health - it could also make you more…generous? Yeah. Researchers at the University of Portsmouth found that people who felt energized and upbeat after exercising were more likely to donate money to charity and make positive financial decisions. In the study, 138 adults either cycled on exercise bikes while watching the TV show “Bargain Hunt” -- or simply watched the show without exercising. Afterward, participants who experienced a mood boost from exercise tended to give more to charity. Scientists believe dopamine, the brain’s “feel-good” chemical, plays a key role. The findings suggest that enjoyable exercise may help put people in a more giving frame of mind.

Joan Cusack has a surprising side hustle that many fans probably don’t know about: she owns a charming gift shop. The actress, who voices cowgirl ‘Jessie’ in “Toy Story 5”, has been running her store, “Judy Maxwell Home”, in Chicago for over a decade. It’s named after her favorite Barbra Streisand character (from “What’s Up, Doc?”). Cusack quote: “At first I didn’t have price tags on anything, and I was sad when someone bought something because…I have to find another thing!” She calls running her own store “such a funny journey”, and claims that even though she’s “never made any money”, it has “been a great hobby.”
“The Bachelorette” season starring Taylor Frankie Paul is almost out of Hollywood jail…and there’s an excellent chance it’ll air on ABC next month. The current discussion behind the scenes is for the season to premiere in mid-July — though final plans are not yet locked. TMZ reports sources as saying the network has been conducting audience testing to see how they feel about Paul now. In March, her season of The Bachelorette was pulled after a video surfaced showing Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, having a heated fight where she hurled metal barstools at him.
Tyra Banks is strutting forward with plans to revive “America’s Next Top Model”…and Entertainment Weekly says that a non-human contestant just might be included in the next cast. After Banks first revealed in the Netflix “Reality Check” docuseries that she was working on bringing ANTM back for cycle 25, a rep for the supermodel and ice cream mogul admitted that an AI-generated model competitor isn’t outside the realm of possibility.

Archaeologists may have uncovered a simpler predecessor to Stonehenge just 5km away from the historical site. Dating back about 5,000 years – about 500 years before Stonehenge — the site consists of 2 wooden posts that once aligned perfectly with the summer and winter solstices. Excavations also revealed pottery, flint tools, animal bones, and a rare stone knife, suggesting the area was an important gathering place for prehistoric communities. Researchers believe the discovery offers a fascinating glimpse into how ancient people observed the heavens and marked the changing seasons long before Stonehenge’s famous stones were erected.

A new South Korean app called “FoodNeverComes” is designed for exactly that habit. It looks like a real delivery platform, letting users browse menus, customize orders, enter payment details and even track a “courier” – but nothing is ever made or delivered. The app is part of a trend called “dopamine sites,” which recreate the excitement of shopping…without spending money. Its creator says it was inspired by people opening delivery apps out of boredom, not hunger. Supporters say it could help curb spending urges, while critics call it “playing pretend for adults.”
