As companies continue pour billions into AI, Gen Z workers are embracing something decidedly low-tech: notebooks, colorful desk pads, handwritten notes and Post-its. A new survey found 94% of Gen Z and millennial office workers find crossing items off a paper to-do list more satisfying than checking a digital box. And 56% of Gen Z workers would rather leave a colleague a Post-it than send a direct message. They’re also personalizing their workspaces with artwork, collectibles and fandom-themed supplies. Experts say the trend reflects digital exhaustion, and a desire for individuality and stability. The future of work may be AI-powered, but Gen Z still wants somewhere to stick a Post-it.

Taylor Sheridan is being accused of stealing the concept for his marquee series “Yellowstone”. In a lawsuit, writer Lauren J. Salkin alleges that she pitched her own sprawling Western drama, “Sovereign Nation,” to Sheridan’s management company in 2016, only to be told: “Taylor thanks you very much for your interest. Unfortunately, he’s unavailable for TV projects.” The suit claims that Yellowstone was greenlit at Paramount “within months” of her rejection. 101 Studios, Paramount and Elevate Entertainment are also listed as defendants.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” continued to deliver in its 4th weekend at the box office as it faced off against newcomers “Insidious: Out of the Further” and the Jason Statham’s “Mutiny”. Most recent estimates say that Spidey swung to a domestic take of $36.5 million amid its historic run. That would bring its total to $852.4 million, surpassing 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home” to become the #3 highest-grossing film ever at the domestic box office. The 6th Insidious film took second place with a projected opening weekend of $24 million, while Mutiny debuted in 6th place, with 7.4 million.
Get ready for another treasure hunt: A third “National Treasure” movie is happening, according to director Jon Turteltaub. Speaking at a live taping of the “National Treasure Hunt” podcast, Turteltaub said: "It's happening…I have not said anything before this, but you deserve to have the scoop. It's finally real.” He went on to clarify that “It's 'Hollywood real,' meaning things could happen. Nic [Cage] gets hit by a bus, there's no National Treasure 3. If I get hit by a bus, there's probably a National Treasure 3. Welcome to Hollywood."

Oreo is taking its famously creative flavors into seriously strange territory with 3 new limited-edition cookies, including a first-of-its-kind “meat-flavored” cookie. The new lineup features Banana Pudding, Deep Fried Oreo and Chicken & Waffles, with fans getting to decide which one returns in 2027. The Chicken & Waffles version combines waffle-flavored cookies with a dual-layer creme inspired by fried chicken and maple syrup. Deep Fried Oreo features fried-dough-flavored creme and dark chocolate, while Banana Pudding pairs banana and vanilla pudding flavors.
