New research suggests your dental health may be a strong predictor of longevity. A University of Osaka study of more than 190,000 adults found that those with better – or filled teeth had a lower risk of early death; while missing or decayed teeth were linked to higher risk. Researchers believe poor oral health may contribute to chronic inflammation, and make it harder to maintain good nutrition. The findings suggest that repairing and maintaining teeth isn’t just cosmetic – it could play an important role in overall health and lifespan.
BIG SCREEN-LITTLE SCREEN
Jimmy Fallon is throwing his support behind breakout “Heated Rivalry” star Hudson Williams as a potential future host of “Saturday Night Live”. Kimmel said Williams has the kind of buzz that could make him a great fit for the long running sketch comedy show. Fallon made the comments after Williams’ viral appearance on “The Tonight Show”, which generated big excitement and viewership across social platforms. Fallon told Entertainment Weekly: “I mean, he’s Canadian, so there’s an advantage there. They look out for each other.” He was referring to the shared Canadian connection between Williams and SNL creator Lorne Michaels.
“Zootopia 2” is hopping to another box office milestone. Disney’s hit sequel has earned $1.7 billion globally, overtaking another hit Disney sequel, 2024’s “Inside Out 2”, which amassed $1.69 billion. That makes the second Zootopia Hollywood’s highest-grossing animated film in history. Zootopia 2 is now the 9th-biggest global release of all time, ranking just behind 2 superhero juggernauts, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” ($1.9 billion) and “Avengers: Infinity War” ($2 billion).
