have a sad letter for you. Since we don't have a large family, we
have a Christmas tradition with our neighbors where our children buy
gifts for each other. We have been doing this for a few years now.
Sadly, their daughter was killed in a car accident last week. When my
husband and I were sitting in our living room last night, he noticed
that I had already gotten her a gift and it was sitting under the
tree. He said we should give it to them anyway. I think that would be
really hard for her parents right now. I'm not sure what the
etiquette is for something like this. I don't have family to ask and
I think it might be helpful to hear someone's opinion, so I hope you
can help.

Sheriff's
deputies are hoping someone can help them find a man wanted for
stealing a truck and motorcycle. But deputies say the man's
girlfriend is also in trouble for trying to hide a meth pipe in her
baby's dirty diaper. According to the Limestone County, Alabama
Sheriff's Office, 34-year-old Timothy Dewayne Cline ran from
deputies, leaving his girlfriend, 33-year-old Jessica Nicole Young,
and their five-month-old child sitting in a stolen rental truck.
Authorities say they went to a home to check on a report of a stolen
motorcycle in the area. Once there, authorities located the
motorcycle and also noticed a U-Haul rental truck that they knew was
stolen. Authorities say Jessica Young was in the passenger seat of
the stolen vehicle with a baby. A deputy ran her information and
learned she was wanted on outstanding warrants. Authorities say they
caught Young trying to dispose of a used meth pipe inside the baby's
dirty diaper. Young was charged with receiving stolen property,
chemical endangerment of a child, and possession of drug

An
Iowa man is now facing charges in the theft of pigs from a Minnesota
farm. 35-year-old David Cortez Jr. is charged with 1st degree theft
and 3rd degree burglary. Authorities say he and Robert Lee Morales of
San Benito, Texas, stole 150 pigs from Christensen Farms in Sleepy
Eye, MN in November 2017. The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office
says it found about fifty pigs in a snowmobile trailer on November
5th, 2017. A deputy left the scene and returned ten minutes later to
see the trailer was still there but two other vehicles and the pigs
were gone. Court documents say one of the vehicles belonged to Cortez
and he borrowed the other for the evening. Christensen Farms says it
has trail camera video of a vehicle belonging to Morales and a
trailer belonging to Cortez at the site where the pigs were stolen.
Morales was arrested, pleaded guilty to 1st degree theft, and is due
to be sentenced on December 18th. Cortez was finally picked up on a
warrant in Glenco, Minnesota and has not yet entered a plea.

21-year-old was removed from a Jet Airways flight and detained Monday
after he was caught by other passengers covering his face with a
handkerchief and typing a message about terrorists. Yogvedant Poddar
was observed by others on a domestic flight in India taking a picture
of himself on Snapchat with his face partly covered with a caption
that read, “Terrorist on flight, I destroy women hearts.” The
Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) said in a statement that the
man was taken off the Kolkata-to-Mumbai flight for questioning.
Security officials boarded the flight and removed the young man, who
insisted he was innocent of any malicious activity and called the
Snapchat photo a prank for his friends. The man’s bags were
re-examined and the CISF confirmed “no suspicious or objectionable
item was found.” Poddar reportedly was handed over to the Netaji
Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport police station for further
