Labeorphilist (lay-bee-OHR-fill-ist)
Noun:
-One who loves or collects beer bottles or their labels.

From label c. 1300, "narrow band or strip of cloth" (oldest use is as a technical term in heraldry), from Old French label, lambel, labeau "ribbon, fringe worn on clothes" (13c., Modern French lambeau "strip, rag, shred, tatter”) + -philia - word-forming element meaning "friendship, fondness, tendency toward," and in recent use "abnormal attraction to," from Greek philia "affection," from philos "loving," which is of uncertain origin.

Used in a sentence:
“George’s attempt to justify his fondness for quafftide by declaring himself to be a dedicated labeorphilist was met with sarcastic mockery.”

WEIRD NEWS:

According to Transportation Safety Administration officials, Security officials at Pittsburgh International found a loaded handgun in an Ohio woman’s carry-on bag last Thursday. The woman, who TSA officials did not identify, was stopped at a security checkpoint when agents found a .380 caliber handgun in her bag, according to TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein. The gun was loaded with six bullets. Farbstein said that Allegheny County police questioned the woman, from Austintown, and confiscated the handgun. She faces a civil penalty from the TSA. A typical first-offense fine is $3,900. Travelers wishing to bring their firearms must pack them in their checked baggage inside a hard-side, locking case. Firearms must also be unloaded.
