An Arizona man who called police to report a possible burglar in his home ended up getting arrested himself in a plot twist after officers discovered a stash of illicit drugs. Responding officers searched the home but found no signs of a break-in, the Phoenix Police Department said on social media. Instead, officers found 6,000 fentanyl pills, 392 grams of meth, $4,685 in cash, and a handgun. “Plot twist,” the department wrote. “A man calling to report a possible break-in, finds himself in handcuffs instead.” Police said 42-year-old John Harbison allowed officers to check his apartment after making the call on Sunday, and officers found “a large quantity of drugs in plain view.” Officers also found drug paraphernalia, including digital scales, small baggies and needles. Harbison was arrested and faces several drug-related charges.(https://fxn.ws/389PL61)

Britney Spears’ boyfriend Sam Asghari says he’s ready to have kids and be a young dad. Asghari is 27, which is not exactly a YOUNG DAD, as he calls it. But I guess it is when you compare it to Mick Jagger becoming a dad again at age 73. (https://pge.sx/3kTNzon)

In order to dodge a drunk driving checkpoint, a man China ditched his car and ducked into a nearby restaurant to pass himself off as a cook. But police saw the man and followed him into the restaurant, where they found him in the kitchen chopping vegetables.

A social media post with tips for saving money suggested this way to get “a free container of deodorant a year.” Next time you “finish” a container of deodorant, take a nail file or small knife, a clean glass or heavy plastic jar, and scoop out the deodorant that remains in the jar. Save the deodorant container. Repeat this every time you finish a stick of deodorant. When you have enough “scraps” to fill the empty container, melt the scraps in a microwave. Stir to blend and pour into an empty deodorant container. You can mix brands.

If you’re smashing your face into the keyboard trying to come up with a brand-new invention, you need to stop and go for a walk. You could also try watching a movie about an unrelated topic. Research found that roughly half of all inventions started as ideas or discoveries that people had while working on something else.

A masked man was caught on surveillance video trying to break into the Malibu home of Food Network star Sandra Lee. The footage shows the would-be thief attempting to get inside the front door of the home twice within a 20-minute period early on February 11th. 54-year-old Lee was not home at the time of the attempted break-in but has since beefed-up security. Lee “has hired full-time security and personal protection” since the incident, a source told the magazine, adding that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the case. The culprit was caught on a doorbell cam trying to open a key lock box twice. Lee did not recognize the man. The attempted break-in came one week after Lee revealed that her wardrobe included one-of-a-kind pieces that include a Bob Mackie frock that was once worn by Cher on the “Sonny and Cher Show.” However, police said nothing appears to have been taken from the house.(https://bit.ly/3sFW3SI)

MOMENT OF DUH: Brought to you by RedCrossBlood.org

An Eagan woman is facing charges of threats of violence and first-degree criminal property damage after officials alleged that she threatened her neighbors with a machete. If found guilty, 32-year-old Kathryn Sun Joyce could serve up to five years in prison and/or pay a fee of up to $10,000. Officials said that Thursday at 4:23 p.m., officers were dispatched to Meadowlark Court, where they were told of a disturbance. When they got there, they saw Joyce screaming. Later, when officers spoke with an employee for the area's internet and telephone service, the employee told them that Joyce damaged a utility box earlier that day, leaving 50-60 people without service. The employee said it would cost $10,000 to repair the utility box. Officers later spoke with a resident who said they saw Joyce open the utility box and cut the wires. Another neighborhood resident said they saw Joyce approach her neighbors' house wielding a machete and peeking into their windows. Joyce's first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
