THIS WEEK'S DEAR JOHN LETTER!
My cousin is getting married and I'm not going to go to the wedding, or should I? We used to be really close We're the two youngest grand kids and would often hang out at family events. After she went to college, we drifted apart. She began treating me horribly on social media so I unfollowed her and ignored the rude comments. A little over a year ago, there was a political issue in the news. We both ended up on a different side and apparently she blocked me. I didn't even realize it until my mom mentioned the wedding. Since I unfollowed her I never see anything, so I went to look at her page and we're no longer friends. I got an invite in the mail. My mother wants me to go with her, but I'm not interested in going at all. I'm sure the invite was only sent out of obligation. We've grown apart and I'm OK with that. Do you think I need to go? How do I get my mother to drop this so I can just move on without all her pressures? What do you think?

Sleeping in separate rooms because one partner snores could improve people’s relationships rather than marking the end, a leading sleep scientist has said. Couples moving into separate rooms can enter the “beginning of a new relationship”, where they are well rested and, ideally, happier, more responsive to each other…and less irritable, according to Russell Foster, a professor of circadian neuroscience at the University of Oxford.

A California-based startup is on a mission to manufacture pharmaceutical drugs — in space. Varda Space Industries argues that medicine may be better produced in microgravity. Manufacturing pharmaceuticals in microgravity builds on experiments carried out on the International Space Station. If the firm is successful, analysts say some of this work may lead to changes in the drugs that people on Earth take today. Varda launched its first test mission Monday aboard a SpaceX rocket.

A friend was quoted as saying: “They’ve clearly hit it off.”
“The Crown” will bring back its past stars to honor the late Queen Elizabeth II in the series’ upcoming 6th and final season, which will premiere on Netflix this fall. Claire Foy, Olivia Colman, and Imelda Staunton, all of whom portrayed the queen at various points throughout the sweeping drama, will film special scenes that will make up a tribute to the late monarch. It’s also been reported that newcomer Viola Prettejohn will portray a younger version of the Queen, when she was still a princess during World War II.
“Young Rock” has been canceled at NBC after 3 seasons. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Young Rock focuses on different chapters of Johnson’s life. Amy Schumer isn’t shy about her thoughts on Ozempic. She criticized celebrities who aren’t honest about using diabetes medications to lose weight. On “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen”, she said: “Everyone has been lying saying, ‘Oh, smaller portions…Like, shut the (heck) up. You are on Ozempic or one of those things, or you got work done. Just stop.” Schumer pointed out that when she got liposuction, “I said I got lipo.” She admits she became involved in Ozempic about a year ago but found it “unlivable” and hampered her ability to spend time with her son, because it made her ill.
