After Grief Navigator and Suicide Prevention Expert, Alexandra Wyman, lost her husband to suicide in 2020, she began a self-healing journey and worked to change the narrative around suicide to one promoting love and compassion instead of blame and judgement. Now she is helping people to find the tools they need to work through suicidal thoughts or support people who have someone in their life who is managing symptoms.

Her work resulted in speaking at conferences on suicide prevention and the culmination of her personal and professional experience resulted in her new memoir, The Suicide Club: What To Do When Someone You Love Chooses Death

Priscilla Presley is once again denying she and Elvis Presley were intimate while she was a minor — this amid a new movie that spotlights their relationship. The ex-wife of the late icon was front and center during a press conference at the Venice Film Festival, just before Sofia Coppola’s new film — “Priscilla” — was screened. During a Q&A, Priscilla admitted that they first met when she was 14 and Elvis was 24, but claimed their relationship was rooted in mutual respect. She said what made Elvis drawn to her was the fact she would listen to him and let him pour his heart to her. Quote: “People think, ‘Oh, it was sex.’ No, it wasn’t. I never had sex with him. He was very kind, very soft, very loving, but he also respected the fact I was only 14 years old.”

The 6th and final season of “The Crown” will feature Prince Charles (now King Charles III) getting married to Camilla Parker-Bowles. Netflix teased the storyline, posting a pic of an order of service from the royal wedding, which took place in 2005. The teaser confirms that The Crown‘s final season will feature Charles grieving the death of Princess Diana in 1997 and later moving on to his second wife, the now Queen Camilla. The Crown producers have promised that Diana’s death will be handled with care in the early episodes of Season 6. LINK: http://tinyurl.com/3ucyd6p2

WEIRD NEWS: Brought to you by WeirdGiftOfTheDay.com

A scientist wore a giant bird mask on his head for an entire year in order to befriend some birds – but it didn’t go quite as planned. Toshitaka Suzuki, an associate professor at the University of Tokyo, shared a bizarre photo of a man wearing a giant bird head. Taken in the forests of Nagano Prefecture, it shows a fellow scientist who wore the ‘disguise’ in order to get close to a nest of great tits without triggering their distress calls. The bird species can remember human faces and would stop their usual chirping to put out warning calls whenever they saw them approaching. Having wound up on the blacklist, the scientist disguised himself as a giant bird in order to study their chirping ‘language’. According to Prof. Suzuki, his colleague wore the disguise for an entire year, but his experiment ended in failure. Whenever the great tits noticed him approaching, they still emitted their warning calls. LINK: https://tinyurl.com/2d2p9w5b
