So – at what age did you first begin to “feel” like an adult? Or, are you still waiting? One in 4 of us don’t really feel like adults until their late 20s, says a new study. A poll of 2,000 uh . . . adults . . . found that 6% didn’t really get that feeling until they hit their mid-30s. Some more findings from the OnePoll survey conducted in the US

Some “adulting” things that people admitted to enjoying included grocery shopping (65%), balancing their budget (62%), doing dishes (60%), laundry (57%) and even vacuuming (56%)

74% said cleaning their home is enjoyable, while 77% claimed cleaning is therapeutic for them – AND 26% actually take joy in shopping for a new vacuum.

Gen Z was the most afraid to admit they like vacuuming (62%), while millennials’ guilty pleasure is doing dishes (40%) and Gen X has a deep appreciation for grocery shopping (44%).

Reading books stimulates the imagination more effectively than watching TV, says a new study. UK researchers found that unlike reading, where mental visualization is necessary, television and movies present ready-made images, reducing the need for imaginative thinking. They say given its significance, especially in children, toward abilities such as planning, creativity, and empathy, fostering imagination is of paramount importance. And encouraging reading over screen-based entertainment could be a key strategy in nurturing imaginative skills.

Tom Cruise rented out an entire floor of the swanky London restaurant Novikov Friday night to wow his new flame Elsina Khayrova. UK newspaper The Sun reported that the “Mission Impossible” star “seemed very loved up” and appeared to be “hanging on every word Elsina was saying,” according to an eyewitness. Cruise and the Russian socialite were joined by his security guard, who stepped in when a member of staff asked for a picture. He reportedly dropped over $600 on a lobster, seafood and sushi dish at the Russian-owned restaurant, and tipped the staff over $100 before he and his date “slipped out the side door into a waiting getaway car.”

Doritos has unveiled a nacho cheese flavored booze.

A 4-month-old baby was found asleep and unharmed in a “cradle” of fallen limbs after being sucked up in a Tennessee tornado. Mom Sydney Moore watched as the bassinet containing her infant son Lord followed the roof of her mobile home into the funnel of a tornado, and she thought she’d never see him again. Surviving the collapse of her home, she searched desperately for the baby with her boyfriend, who had been thrown by the force of the funnel, breaking his arm and shoulder. Then, a miracle. Lord was spotted in what looked like “a little tree cradle”, unscathed, lying asleep in the crook of a fallen tree. Moore’s sister said it looked as though the baby was placed there by “an angel”. A GoFundMe has been started to replace the family’s home.
