Authorities say a Tennessee man pulled over in Alabama had 82 pounds of methamphetamine packaged as Mexican candy. 56-year-old James Robert Fields of Memphis had given investigators permission to search his vehicle for drugs after he was pulled over for erratic driving. Investigators found a large bag of purported candy but noticed it felt granular. A closer examination revealed the packages contained meth, worth an estimated street value of $1.5 million. Fields was immediately arrested. He is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and is being held on $200,000 bond.

A Metairie, Louisiana man who is already on probation for robbery was arrested after he was accused of using movie money at a Burlington Coat Factory. According to Kenner Police, the bills that 32-year-old Jesse Galarza used were labeled “for Movie Production Purposes” only. Galarza reportedly admitted to using the counterfeit money. Galarza was arrested on charges of monetary instrument abuse and theft. He was also booked on a probation and parole detainer and a warrant from Orleans Parish for introduction of contraband into a penal institution and possession of synthetic cannabinoids.

22-year-old Jacob Lawrence Morris of Florida was arrested after he was caught looking at women in bathing suits and masturbating inside his vehicle Friday on the Dunedin Causeway. Pinellas County Sheriff deputies say they caught Morris after he unintentionally parked next to an unmarked deputy's cruiser while pleasuring himself. Morris pulled over several times near where women in bathing suits were sunbathing. He was inside of his parked truck masturbating with his window down on the beach portion of the Dunedin Causeway. The arresting deputy says when he approached Morris he had his green shorts pulled below his knees and was pleasuring himself while sitting in the driver's seat of his truck.
When the deputy made contact with Morris, he tried to speed off westbound on the beach in a reckless manner. Morris was later arrested for charges of marijuana possession, exposure of a sex organ, and trying to flee from the deputy. (https://goo.gl/Z9jyHi)
