A
Georgia man had to rescue his mother from the second floor during a
fire at a DeKalb County home that allegedly began over a box of
Cheez-Its. Officials tell CBS46 News that two brothers and their
61-year-old mother were at the home when an argument began over a box
of Cheez-It snack crackers. That’s when one of the brothers, who
police say was intoxicated, locked his brother and mother inside the
home and began pouring gasoline on the front steps. He then lit the
home on fire, trapping the two inside. The brother was able to lift
his mother down from the second story window and then get himself out
safely. The man who started the fire, only described as a 32-year-old
man, was taken into custody. It’s unclear what charges he is
facing. (https://bit.ly/2IfeJ9H)

Your Fish Is an Imposter
That
fish you just bought is probably a fake. According to researchers,
mislabeling of fish runs rampant, with about a quarter of fish being
sold as something that they are not—yellowtail sold as mahi-mahi,
shark that’s actually perch, and everything else that’s actually
tilapia.

Police in Randleman, North Carolina are now investigating a one of a kind situation. Officials say 37-year-old Christopher Hancock was robbed of his pants, which he claimed contained $10,000, while meeting up with a woman for sex. Hancock told investigators he and his girlfriend have an open relationship, which includes having sex with other people. When Hancock arrived at the woman's house, he went upstairs with the woman and both of them undressed. He says that's when two men started punching and choking him. He said he passed out and when he woke back up his pants and the money were gone. Police have now arrested 23-year-old Bryce Mason on charges of robbery and assault by strangulation. Gracelynn Bradeberry, who is dating Mason, was also arrested and is facing charges of giving false information on the identity of Mason. Police are still looking for 23-year-old Brandon Cooke. Police
are hunting for a man who attacked the wax figure of hip hop mogul
Sean Combs during a visit to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in New York.
According to NBC New York, the suspect, wearing a black jacket with a
hood and blue jeans, went to the Times Square location's ninth floor
on Saturday night where the statue of Diddy is housed. He then
started yelling at the wax likeness of the celebrity who has also
gone by the aliases P. Diddy, Puff Daddy and Puffy, before knocking
it over and causing the head to separate from the statue. Police say
that the vandal then stomped on the sculpture of Combs' head before
taking off from the museum on foot. Investigators believe he
intentionally went after the Grammy-winning artist's statue causing
$300,000 worth of damage to the
figure.
