A
soused Indiana woman demolished her boyfriend’s truck with a
softball bat, threatened to burn down his home — and then laughed
on the way to jail, saying “YOLO.” 37-year-old Kristin Nicole
Trzoski of Valparaiso was arrested late Tuesday at the home she
shares with Chad Lukas, after admitting to Porter County deputies
that she destroyed his 2000 GMC Sierra truck with an aluminum
softball bat and threatened to continue her destruction with an
oversize wrench. Lukas accused Trzoski of drinking earlier Tuesday,
setting off a violent confrontation as she reached her “breaking
point” in their relationship, which she was trying to end. Lukas
managed to record some of Trzoski’s blowup on his cellphone, which
he showed to a responding cop. Later, as Trzoski was being taken to
jail, she told a deputy she had “simply reached her breaking point”
and hoped that her actions made that clear to Lukas. Trzoski, who was
charged with felony intimidation and misdemeanor criminal mischief,
remained in custody at the Porter County Jail early Thursday.

In an attempt to remove a hornets’ nest, a Massachusetts man accidentally set his family’s roof on fire when he used fireworks to deal with the situation. Dave Schmida, of Sturbridge, said he was visiting home from college when he noticed a large nest perched high on his family’s house. He was reportedly trying to remove the nest when a corner of the roof caught on fire. The 21-year-old first used a more traditional method, spraying the nest with Raid, a pesticide spray. When that didn’t work, Schmida reportedly turned to an unconventional method of shooting a Roman candle into the nest, three stories up. Schmida then rushed upstairs and used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire. He can be seen in the video leaning out of a window. He told the newspaper the damage was minimal, with a few boards left slightly burned and a small hole in the house. Fireworks are illegal in Massachusetts for anyone without a professional license.

After
stuffing $200 worth of crab legs in a purse, a mother-daughter duo
fled a Tennessee supermarket, but not before slugging a female
employee in the face when she tried to thwart the brazen crustacean
heist. In criminal complaints filed, 56-year-old Felicia Hollins and
34-year-old Gabrielle Hodges are charged with theft and assault in
connection with the August 18th crab leg thievery at a Superlo Foods
outlet in Memphis. According to police, two witnesses said they
“watched two females take crab legs and conceal them in a purse.”
When store manager Diane Glover tried to “stop the females at the
check-out counter,” one of the suspects “struck her twice in the
face.” Hollins and Hodges were booked into the county jail on the
misdemeanor counts. While Hollins was subsequently freed on her own
recognizance, Hodges was released after posting $100 bond. The women
are scheduled today for a court
appearance.(https://bit.ly/2ZBc5T2)
