Two
Arkansas siblings were arrested on drug charges during the weekend
after the sister claimed her brother fed her a “meth sandwich.”
29-year-old Elizabeth Catlett was pulled over on Sunday in Hot
Springs, a city roughly 55 miles southwest of Little Rock, for
driving without her headlights on. Her brother, 33-year-old Don Furr,
was a passenger in the vehicle. The police officer who pulled her
over said he smelled marijuana in the car and observed Catlett
“moving about the vehicle in a quick, nervous manner.” Catlett
said the car didn't contain any drugs. But when another officer
arrived on scene and a body check of Catlett was conducted, police
said they found small plastic bags and a cut straw in her front
pocket — and alleged residue of methamphetamine. Catlett then
allegedly told police that if she “pops hot” – likely a
reference to testing positive for drugs – it was because Furr fed
her a meth sandwich. The two were taken into custody on various drug
charges. Catlett faces additional charges of DWI and refusal to
submit to a chemical test. Both are scheduled to appear in court Nov.

A Pensacola, Florida woman was arrested after she allegedly forced her husband to sign divorce papers at gunpoint. 45-year-old Millanie Sherbrook was arrested last Friday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was booked into the Escambia County Jail without bond and remained in custody Tuesday. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office was notified around 10:00 a.m. Friday that a man had locked himself inside a bathroom to escape from his armed wife and she was still trying to open the bathroom door. The man explained that when he came home that morning, he told Sherbrook he had changed his mind about how he planned to handle their divorce. He originally planned to sign the divorce papers, but then decided instead to handle the divorce in court. The man said his wife went into their bedroom, emerged with a silver revolver, and walked him at gunpoint back into their kitchen. The man said that he was then “forced to sign the divorce papers under duress.” Deputies arrived at the couple’s home and Sherbrook was quickly handcuffed and placed in the back of a cruiser. Army Lance Sergeant Liam Cruise-Taylor has been jailed for a
six-month period after admitting to a series of allegations of
punching, elbowing, and twisting the nipples of the soldiers under
his charge. Abuse by the 32-year-old reportedly occurred during parts
of 2016 and 2017, when he was responsible for training new members of
the Irish Guards Recruits, whose mission it is to protect the royal
family. Once they arrived for training at Catterick Infantry Centre,
his men found protecting themselves from their superior’s pattern
of abusive behavior was difficult enough. A total of seven victims
accused Cruise-Taylor of ill treatment “in the form of physical
violence used against them throughout their training,” the judge
