A 33-year-old man in Madison, Wisconsin was arrested after showing his disdain for hearing Christmas music. He chucked a beer bottle at the bartender handling the stereo, after she changed the music from Black Sabbath to Christmas. The police identified the suspect as Christopher Gamboeck who reportedly chugged his Budweiser, slammed it on the counter, yelled some expletives, and threw the bottle in the direction of the female bartender's head after she changed the stereo. Witnesses were able to wrangle him before he could do any further damage, besides pulling down a Christmas tree and several ornaments while exiting the bar. The bartender seemed to be okay after the incident. Gamboeck was arrested and is facing charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. (https://bit.ly/2X2WSGY)

It probably goes without saying that this is not the best way to transport a double bed: A woman was caught driving a BMW convertible with a bed base and mattress sticking out of the top of her car. She was pulled over by Essex Police in England. When cops approached her, she told them “it’s wedged in the seat, so it’s okay.” They then took a picture of and uploaded it to Twitter with the face palm emoji. Officers quipped, “Some of the work based on traffic stops included positive stop and search for drugs, two drug drivers, seized for no insurance and an insecure load….she said: ‘It’s wedged in the seat so it’s okay!’” It was not clear whether any action was taken against the driver but causing a danger from distribution of load in a car can attract a fine of £100. A South Daytona, Florida man already on probation violated his probation by burglarizing the probation office. 37-year-old Latravia McGill was arrested about 1:50 a.m. Monday morning and accused of breaking into the probation office at 665 Beville Road. He was being held without bail at the Volusia County Branch Jail. McGill was already on probation until April 23, 2021, for burglary of an unoccupied structure or conveyance.’ McGill was charged with burglary of a structure, causing more than $1,000 in damage, possession of burglary tools, petty theft, and resisting an officer without violence. Officers responded to an alarm at the probation office about 1:00 a.m. They saw the door open and heard some noise. Then they saw McGill riding away on a bicycle ignoring officers who yelled at him to stop. As he rode away, he dropped a security alarm speaker sensor in the median. The chain on the bicycle broke and police arrested McGill at Taser point. Police later heard an alarm go off in one of their patrol cars. It turned out to be the alarm speaker that McGill had tossed, which an officer had retrieved. (https://bit.ly/2X9InkI)
