THIS WEEK'S DEAR JOHN LETTER!
Dear John,

I recently broke up with my boyfriend. We dated for several years. I had already bought tickets to a concert he wanted to go to. The tickets were going to be his Christmas gift. I was the one who ended the relationship. He has wanted to get married and have kids, but I was not ready for that. I decided that I should let him find someone who is ready for that. I still love him very much. I was thinking it might be nice to give him these tickets. It's not something I'm going to use without him. A co-worker told me it was a bad idea to give them to him at this point. We argued about it a little, right when you were doing your Dear John letter. She tole me to ask you what to do. We're listening in the office to hear your answer. What do you think I should do with the tickets?

Signed – Recent Ex

WEIRD NEWS: Brought to you by WeirdGiftOfTheDay.com
Authorities say that a New Jersey construction company honcho embezzled millions of dollars from two businesses — and used part of the dough to buy donkeys. 38-year-old Jonathan Baker — a former CFO at an unnamed building company — allegedly altered bank statements between 2015 and 2018 to fleece two firms out of at least $2 million. He used an undisclosed amount of the money to purchase six donkeys, though it’s not said how much he paid or what he did with them. Baker — who owns an egg farm — also made a $20,000 payment to Wells Fargo for his mortgage and he wrote a $15,000 check for a BMW, before spending hundreds of thousands more on other personal expenses. U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said in a press release, “Baker misappropriated millions of dollars from the companies’ bank accounts and used the funds for his personal expenses, including mortgage payments on Baker’s residence, the purchase of a BMW, and the purchase of six donkeys.” Baker was charged with five counts of wire fraud and three counts of money laundering.
