Police said a Florida man dialed their department to report he was being shot at by the man he had just robbed and stabbed. Boynton Beach police officers said Victor Morel called them Saturday night to report that someone had shot at him twice. According to the police, 33-year-old Morel had met the man through a gay social app, Grindr, and knew from others that the unidentified man dealt drugs. Morel told officers that he went to the man’s apartment intending to “make some money off of him.” Television station WPTV reports that the men got into an argument at the apartment and Morel struck the man in the head, causing him to fall to the ground. Morel then grabbed a briefcase filled with methamphetamine and struck the victim again before running out the front door. The victim grabbed a knife and chased after Morel. Outside the apartment, Morel struck the victim with a bag of drugs and a gun fell out. After the man dropped the knife, Morel picked it up and stabbed him. The man then fired two shots as Morel drove away, hitting the windshield and driver’s side window. Morel was charged with robbery and aggravated battery. (https://cbsloc.al/38cWTg2)

Bee hummingbirds are so small they get mistaken for insects. Hummingbirds are known for being itty-bitty creatures, but Bee Hummingbirds are the teeniest versions of these shockingly tiny flyers. They're actually the smallest bird in the world. They are so minuscule that they are sometimes mistaken for insects (which explains their name), according to the National Audobon Society. The birds are just two and a quarter inches long and weigh less than a dime.

A Stark County, Ohio woman was arrested last Thursday for “repeatedly” calling 9-1-1 to tell police her parents shut off her cell phone. 36-year-old Seloni Khetarpal of Jackson Township was charged with disrupting public services, a fourth-degree felony. On February 13th, Khetarpal called 9-1-1 and demanded police respond to her home because her parents had shut off her cell phone. The first time she called, police warned her to only call for a legitimate emergency. Hours later, she called again about her parents shutting off her cell phone. According to court documents, she was “belligerent” and said she thought it was a legitimate issue. Khetarpal is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 27th. (https://bit.ly/2uY84uB)

26-year-old Michigan resident David Marcel-Lewis Johnson was arrested early Friday morning after relieving himself on the bumper of a marked police car, according to Florida cops who captured him mid-stream. Police say that Johnson was in downtown St. Petersburg around 1:00 a.m. when he was observed “approaching a sergeant’s police vehicle.” He then “removed his penis from the front of his pants, and urinated on the rear bumper of the vehicle.” An arrest affidavit reports that Johnson was “taken into custody while still in the commission of the crime.” Johnson was busted on a block with several popular bars and nightclubs. Johnson, who was “uncooperative with questioning,” was charged with disorderly conduct for urinating in the “view of members of the public.” (https://bit.ly/38sJh0l)
