Florida police report that a woman allegedly battered her father and attempted to grab his genitals during an argument over him “not sharing his medical marijuana with her.” Cops allege that 22-year-old Dakota DiRienzo tangled with her 59-year-old father Luigi inside his residence at the Pelican Way mobile home park in Sebastian, a city just north of Vero Beach. As detailed in an arrest affidavit, the younger DiRienzo reportedly told police that she and her father “were involved in an argument...due to him sharing his medical marijuana with his friends but not her.” During the confrontation, DiRienzo allegedly pulled her father to the ground, tearing his shirt. Luigi’s girlfriend told cops that “Dakota attacked Luigi by pulling him down to the ground, and by attempting to grab his genitals.” The 4’11” Dakota, who suffered scratch marks on her back during the incident, was arrested for misdemeanor battery. Troopers in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania say a man and woman were arrested after they tried to burglarize a home while they mistakenly thought the family was at the airport. According to state police, 30-year-old Jeremy Appleton and 36-year-old Andrea Roton entered the home July 19th believing the people who lived there had gone to the DuBois Airport. Troopers say they were wrong about no one being home, though. They say Roton tried to restrain one of the victims with a bra before she escaped the home. The two then rummaged through the kitchen and stole an unknown amount of prescription drugs. Roton eventually left the home, assaulted another person while threatening to shoot him and his family, and was eventually arrested. Meanwhile, they say Appleton fled in a vehicle as troopers arrived on scene. He was taken into custody nearby and will be facing more charges pending toxicology results. (https://bit.ly/308pTUF)
