A South African woman won damages of $13,000 after a toilet collapsed beneath her at a hospital. The woman was visiting her husband in the hospital when she needed to use the toilet. She told the court she still suffered pain as the result of injuries sustained in the incident. In her testimony, the woman said that seconds after she sat down, the toilet bowl shattered beneath her. She landed on broken pieces of the toilet bowl, and her right knee was twisted and trapped under rubble.
A study examining people’s cleaning frequencies and their personality traits revealed Americans who are “super clean” are twice as happy with their overall lives than those who believe themselves to be “messy.” The study surveyed 2,000 Americans and divided them into three self-identifying groups: super clean, moderately clean and messy. The super cleans were found to be more content in family matters, have a better sex life, get better sleep, have more career satisfaction, and felt less stressed.
The pandemic forced the cancellation or rescheduling of a lot of events — including the World Beard and Mustache Championships. 24-year-old man was arrested after trying to speed away from law
enforcement on U.S. 1. Ignacio Luis Lamadrid Gomez is accused of
speeding away from a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation
Commission officer during a traffic stop. Upper Keys Sgt. Robert Dosh
saw Gomez going about 100-mph in a 45-mph zone. He tried to pull
Gomez over and watched as he drove into on-coming traffic. Gomez
drove into the Coral Bay Resort and tried hiding from deputies. He
was eventually found and arrested. During his arrest, Gomez told
deputies that he was trying to go back to Cuba. Deputies found two

New Hampshire man was hit with charges over an explosion at a gender
reveal party last month that shook homes in neighboring towns — and
sparked fears of a possible earthquake. Police said Anthony Spinelli,
of Kingston, was responsible for the massive April 20th blast, which
was heard across state lines in Massachusetts. Cops who responded to
the incident in a Torromeo quarry were met with a haze of blue dust,
for boy, leading them to realize the boom was related to a gender
reveal party. Revelers picked the quarry, near the border between New
Hampshire and Massachusetts, believing it would be a safe place to
set off the big reveal. They used 80 pounds of Tannerite, an
explosive compound typically sold over the counter for firearms
practice, mixed with blue chalk dust. No one was injured and no major
damage was reported. Spinelli, whose age wasn’t available, was
charged with disorderly conduct, police said, “due to the fact that
