An Ohio trooper jumped into action when a driver choked on a baggie of marijuana. An Ohio State Highway Patrol dash camera captured video of the driver apparently unable to breath exit his car during a traffic stop. “Can you breathe?” the trooper asked. The man turned away from the trooper and raised his arms for the trooper to perform the Heimlich maneuver, but the baggie remained lodged in his throat. Then the man attempted to gag himself but couldn’t dislodge it. Finally, the trooper freed the baggie after performed the Heimlich maneuver again. “We’ve got an ambulance coming just to check you out, all right? Make sure everything’s good,” the trooper said. “I’m sorry,” the man replied. “That’s a minor misdemeanor,” the trooper said as he pointed where the baggie had fallen on the ground. “Do you want to die over a minor misdemeanor?” In a Facebook post, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said “don’t try to swallow a bag of drugs prior to getting pulled over in an attempt to keep a trooper from finding them.” (https://bit.ly/3xCeB9l)

France has a dozen time zones. The country with the widest stretch of land, Russia, spans 11 different time zones. France, though, technically has the most, clocking in at 12—but that's due to the fact that its territories are dispersed in various parts of the world. The U.S. ties with Russia in second, but not all time zones are inhabited. So, Russia is the only place in the world where one citizen could be waking up at 8:00 a.m. and another could be going to bed at 11:00 p.m.

A new homeowner says he discovered a large system of man-made tunnels carved under his house. While some parts appear to have newer construction, some areas appear to have been carved out by hand. The story was shared to Reddit by a user with the name Netatrax, who says he recently bought the house in southern Italy. According to him, he discovered the entrance to the tunnels in the barn, although he believes some areas are located underneath the house. Also, there are apparently a lot of bats in the tunnels as well. On Reddit, the homeowner wrote, "Nobody was able to tell me what these caves were used for. Will put some gear down there to turn the humidity into water for my olive trees." Due to the high humidity, the homeowner wrote that he doesn’t think the tunnels could be used for food or wine storage. In an update, the original poster said that he was able to explore to the second floor a little bit and found an underground pond. (https://fxn.ws/3r3kqdE)
