Yes, it’s true – everyone loves to receive a compliment. But which is the best one to give? It turns out that we love hearing that our home is clean when guests come over. And what’s more, according to a poll, 43% of us agree: One of the BEST home compliments is: “Your home smells so good!” The OnePoll survey of 2,000 adults in the US looked at how home fragrances play a role in cleaning routines. 55% of respondents said that the way a home smells is even more important than how it looks. Other favorite home-related compliments included that the place has a good vibe (37%) and that it looks clean (52%). The poll also found that the most common signs that your home needs a good cleaning are: when there’s visible dust (57%), and when it starts to “feel” unclean (48%). And 46% said they feel the need to clean when their home doesn’t smell fresh.

Tigers have striped skin, not just striped fur. The stripes are like fingerprints, and no two tigers have the same pattern.

The most fascinating star in this summer’s hotly anticipated crossover “Deadpool & Wolverine” might not be Ryan Reynolds or Hugh Jackman. It could be Peggy, who won the title of Britain’s ugliest dog in 2023. Peggy is believed to be a Pug and Chinese Crested mix — sometimes called a “Pugese”. She plays ‘Dogpool’ in the film – and yes, Dogpool is a real character. Peggy also has her own “Dogpool” Instagram page, and obviously, Ryan Reynolds is a big fan. When asked about ‘Deadpool’s’ bond with the dog, he called it “love at first sight.” Deadpool & Wolverine opens July 26. LINK:

“The Voice” has found its next 2 coaches in Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé. They’ll join returning coaches Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani for Season 26 of the NBC singing competition. That will mark McEntire’s 3rd consecutive season on the show, and Stefani’s 8th in total. But it’ll be neither Bublé’s nor Snoop’s first collaboration with The Voice. In Season 3, Bublé served as an advisor to Team Blake Shelton. As for Snoop, the rapper served as a mega mentor in Season 20. He has also been tapped by NBC to swerve as a special correspondent for the Olympics.

George Clooney is making his Broadway debut in a play adaptation of his 2005 drama “Good Night, and Good Luck.” Clooney will play journalist Edward R. Murrow, who was the host of CBS’ “See It Now.” David Strathairn played the role in the film, which was directed by and starred Clooney, and was co-written by him. Good Night, and Good Luck will arrive on Broadway next spring.

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are teaming up again to star in a new reality TV series, over 20 years after their show “The Simple Life” debuted. In an Instagram post, the it-girls teased the show with an old school TV showing static noise and an overlay of their voices playfully singing their personal theme song to one another, ‘Sanasa’. The post read: “New Era. Same Besties. Coming soon to Peacock.” LINK:

SCOOP OF THE DAY: Brought to you by

A survey found that one in 5 adults say they are too tired for sex.

Would you rather play video games, or watch TV all night?

Would you rather give away all your money, or all your possessions?

Would you rather live in a real haunted house, or the middle of a desert?

Would you rather watch your most embarrassing moment on a one-hour loop every month, or remember it once every day for the rest of your life?

Would you rather be able to type faster, or dance better?

Would you rather sleep on the floor with a pillow and blanket, or sleep on a bed without a pillow or blanket?

Would you rather have to sing your favorite song all by yourself in front of an arena full of people, or in front of the original artist, alone?

Would you rather remember everyone’s name you’ve ever met, or know how to mix every cocktail ever made?

Would you rather glow bright pink every time you’re attracted to someone, or glow bright red every time someone annoys you?

Would you rather have to use sandpaper as toilet paper, or hot sauce as eye drops?

Share this with your friends... they'll think you're really smart!

You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching TV.

WEIRD NEWS: Brought to you by

As food mash-ups go, maybe someday it’ll be as popular as pineapple on pizza. Or mint and lamb. Or chicken and waffles. But I doubt it. The latest combo to go viral is…Dr. Pepper and Pickles. And according to those who know, it 100% slaps. TikTok user Mississippi Memaw shared her favorite “Pickle Dr. Pepper” order as she went through a Sonic Drive-thru, asking the worker to toss a few salty pickles into the super-sweet soda, and remarking that the server didn’t bat an eye at her order, proving it’s a pretty popular choice. Alternate recipe, according to one commenter: “The Witch Doctor”, a potion that includes a mixture of “several different sodas combined with pickles and lemons”.

Here are the movies coming to theaters this summer that are vying to be “THE” blockbuster of the year, à la “Jaws” or “E.T.” or “Independence Day”, etc…

✪ “IF” (May 17): Short for “Imaginary Friend”, director John Krasinski’s kid-friendly fantasy suggests that these pals don’t go away once their underage creators grow up. Starring Ryan Reynolds and the voices of, among others, Steve Carell, Phoebe Waller-Bridges, and Sam Rockwell.

✪ “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (May 24): An origin story prequel, telling how ‘Imperator Furiosa’ became the rebel in George Miller’s post-apocalyptic franchise. Anya Taylor-Joy takes over that role, and Chris Hemsworth and Tom Burke co-star.

✪ “Ballerina” (June 7): This “John Wick” spinoff is about a dancer-assassin named ‘Rooney’ (Ana de Armas) seeking vengeance for the murder of her family. We understand that Keanu Reeves will be showing up as everyone’s favorite killer on the run.

✪ “Bad Boys 4” (June 14): Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reunite one more time as Detectives ‘Mike Lowery’ and ‘Marcus Burnett’, the loose cannons of Miami’s police department.
