A
Massachusetts man pleaded not guilty Friday to drug possession and
reckless child endangerment charges after his 5-year-old son brought
cocaine to school. Holyoke police said the boy ingested the cocaine,
was taken to a hospital, and is expected to be okay. 29-year-old
Benny Garcia, the child's father, is being held without bail until a
dangerousness hearing on Wednesday to determine whether he will
continue being held pending a trial. The kindergartner at H.B.
Lawrence Elementary School last week was showing his friends a
drug-filled plastic baggie stamped with his favorite superheroes.
Hampden County assistant district attorney Matthew Green said, “The
kindergarten student told the teacher that when he eats or tastes the
powder, he turns into Superman.” Hourihan's letter states she
immediately called an ambulance and police after teachers notified
her of their discovery.(https://cnn.it/2DDnyVD)

Antioch police are searching for a woman who witnesses say intentionally drove her car into a barber after she was reportedly dissatisfied with the haircut he gave her son. The brazen crash happened around 3:45 p.m. last Wednesday at Delta Barbershop. The suspect was reportedly causing a scene outside the shop, apparently dissatisfied with the haircut her son received. The barber went outside to record her license plate number and the woman allegedly attempted to run him over. Police said that the barber was knocked into the store’s glass windows, breaking them, and sustained major leg injuries. The 63-year-old was transported to a local hospital. “I saw the car taking off, backing out and then taking off real fast. The owner of the barber shop was already laying down inside,” said witness James Nguyen. Antioch police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Ruby Delgadillo of Brentwood. She fled the scene with her son in a blue 2006 Toyota Prius. Anyone with information on this case or on the whereabouts of Delgadillo is asked to call the Antioch Police Department non-emergency line. (https://cbsloc.al/2E03ehv)
