An Oregon felon allegedly placed methamphetamine into bean dip that she served to co-workers at a Thriftway supermarket, according to cops who arrested the woman on multiple criminal counts. Police charge that 38-year-old Cassandra Medina-Hernandez provided the spiked bean dip to a woman who fell ill after consuming it. Upon being treated at a hospital, the victim “learned the bean dip may have contained methamphetamine.” The 27-year-old victim told cops that Medina-Hernandez, who was working in the store’s deli department, provided her with the bean dip. A fellow Thriftway employee told police that Medina-Hernandez “told her about placing drugs inside” the victim’s food. After opening a criminal probe, investigators determined that “at least one other employee had consumed bean dip from the same dish that was believed to have been contaminated.” Deputies arrested Medina-Hernandez on several charges, including unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and recklessly endangering another person. A package thief who made off with a woman’s delivery in St. Paul, Minnesota, decided to leave something behind for the victim — a handwritten thank you note. Homeowner Hilary Smith found the note on her porch one day last week after she got home from work. The note thanked her for the “opportunity of stealing" her package and was signed by the package’s “new owner." St. Paul police posted a picture of the note on Twitter, and reminded residents who are expecting deliveries to take precautions to avoid thefts. https://www.wvlt.tv/content/news/Package-thief-taunts-victim-with-thank-you-note-566234201.html

Police say a Tennessee woman who used her car to hit another woman helping direct traffic near a school has been arrested. WZTV-TV cited an affidavit in reporting that 41-year-old Matasha Hodges is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The affidavit says Hodges was passing a Nashville school on her way to work Friday when she was stopped by a woman helping a crossing guard, became angry and struck the woman with her car. The victim received minor injuries. It wasn't immediately clear whether Hodges has an attorney. https://www.wvlt.tv/content/news/Tenn-woman-charged-for-hitting-woman-helping-crossing-guard--566049721.html
FAKE NEWS.... OR FLORIDA?!
I read a headline and Heidi (and you) need to guess if the story is FAKE NEWS or something that really happened in the state of FLORIDA.

43-year-old Heather Mayeux was arrested for domestic battery after allegedly stubbing out a cigarette on her boyfriend’s forehead during an argument in their Florida residence. Cops allege that Mayeux got into a “verbal altercation” with the 46-year-old victim upon his return home from work. After pushing the man several times, Mayeux “took her lit cigarette and extinguished it on the victim’s forehead.” After being read her rights, Mayeux reportedly copped to using her beau as an ashtray. “ Police noted, “Mayeux admitted to being frustrated” and said she “may have put the cigarette out on the victim’s forehead.” Mayeux was booked into the county jail on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge. A judge has ordered her to have no contact with the victim. (
