A naked woman on a midnight golf cart joyride was arrested early Saturday when she drove through a police perimeter in Florida. While officers were involved in an armed standoff with a teenager, Jessica Smith drove past several patrol cars while behind the wheel of a golf cart. Smith allegedly ignored a police command to depart the area and continued to approach “the target house of where the armed suspect was on the roof.” When Smith refused to exit the golf cart, she “was assisted out and handcuffed”. Smith smelled of alcohol and was “completely nude,” according to a criminal complaint charging her with obstruction.

While Elon Musk is working on improvements to Tesla’s autopilot features and teaching a monkey how to play Pong with its mind, Jeff Bezos — his now well-known nemesis — is allegedly partaking in yet another futuristic venture, one that could soon allow humans to live longer. It's called Altos Labs, a "biological reprogramming" tech company currently looking into a variety of methods that could help reverse the ageing process. As of now, the company has raised more than $270 million in funding thanks to massive donations from people all over the world who are banking on the company’s promise. Bezos is said to have a fairly long-standing interest in longevity research. One method being studied by Altos Labs is whether this reprogramming could teach cells to revert back to their 'stem cell' origins, make them re-adapt to the skin and give it a more youthful appearance. In order to do so, Altos Labs has recruited a Nobel Prize winning doctor (Shinya Yamanaka), who will serve as an unpaid senior scientist, chairing the company’s scientific advisory board.

Oreo and Pokémon have teamed up to celebrate the media and gaming franchise's 25th anniversary. The partnership includes limited-edition Pokémon cookie packs available online for pre-order and hitting shelves next week. Sixteen cream-filled, dunk-able designs depict Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and other characters. But, "just like in the Pokémon world, some Pokémon x Oreo cookies will be harder for Trainers to find." https://www.oreo.com/oreo-pokemon-themed-cookies

A Fort Myers, Florida, road is known for its pothole problem, and residents are tired of waiting to get the road fixed. So someone came up with a unique way to get attention — they planted a banana tree in the pothole. Cars driving down the road had to either veer left or right to get around the tree. Even in the rain, those behind the protest made sure the tree stayed in place, so their message gets through.
